Abstract: A quirky dwelling in Omaha, Nevada, has undergone an artistic transformation that it hopes will attract buyers for $425,000.

The 1,162-square-foot house dates back to the early 1900s, when it was a carriage house for a nearby house.

It was redesigned by local artist Eddith Buis in 2008, when she took it down to the studs with the help of architect and artist Eddy Santamaria.

"It's futuristic; it's advanced for its time.

Everything about it is low-maintenance.

The price includes the house, a garage, an art studio, and a storage room that can be used as a rain shelter.

Buis sold the house to the current owner in 2017, but many of her design elements remain.

As you walk up the steps, you are in awe of what you see as it is a park-like setting.

There are statues created by Edith throughout the property.

There is no grass in the yard, it is all plants, shrubs and trees where you can wander around thinking you are in a park and you don't even have to leave the house.

The house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and lots of interesting details.

The first thing you see when you walk up is this amazing solid wood door which has an oval window at the bottom.

So if you have pets, they can see out and then you have a floating maple staircase that just looks amazing.

The kitchen is wood and concrete and everything has a sleek look with lots of light.

The floors are concrete and there is radiant heat.

The roof is steel so it will outlast us all and the decking is all composite decking.

There is plenty of storage in the house and every inch of space is fully utilised, even the hidden storage space between the toilet and the shower.

Wall space and streaming light make this home the perfect place to display artwork.
