Abstract: The Harmony House for Musicians is on the market in Oberlin, Ohio, and you can buy it for $1 million.

The spectacular style of this two-bedroom home was the talk of the town when it was custom built for a married musician couple in 2004.

This jaw-dropping property is now generating buzz again as it goes up for sale.

Highlights include a gorgeous open show area, custom cabinetry from Ferrari, and a natural setting.

It is a contemporary style with open spaces, large windows and unconventional volume of space.

The owners are professional musicians, recently retired from teaching cello, and their late husband was a principal oboist at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

They used to entertain guests here and give small concerts on the first floor. The house has excellent acoustics, so the house has attracted many musicians and artists.

Just a few doors down from the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Welzheimer-Johnson House, this 6,873-square-foot house also has an unusual floor plan.

The foyer leads to a spectacular two-story performance and entertainment space with bamboo floors, soaring ceilings and superb acoustics, where the couple hosted intimate concerts and parties.

This home truly inspires the mind while providing a peaceful living space.

In addition, the home is fully accessible and easy to navigate.

The main suite and kitchen are located on the second floor and there is an elevator that leads to the main level.

The elevator leads to the garage, so you can easily unload groceries.

Everything in the kitchen is built in.

From the kitchen, you can exit into the living room, so you can see the entire front area.

The den was designed by the current owners and has no windows, they sought to focus on work without distractions.

Upstairs, the dining room overlooks the foyer, while the nearby main suite offers custom-designed glass features.

The modern architecture seems to blend into the natural surroundings.

The couple created a managed forest with pine trees designed to resemble bonsai, and small gardens on the 2-acre site, including a Japanese bamboo garden.

Martz says there is mixed interest in the property.

One person called me who was moving from California to the Cleveland area, and they were looking for a modern home, in particular.

It's located not far from the airport, and Cleveland is only 45 minutes away.

The home is suitable for many different age groups.

Potential buyers come from all walks of life and are excited about the space in the home when they come in, and Oberlin College alumni love its proximity to the school.

Others want to live in a college town, while musicians and artists are looking for a space with an abundance of natural light to showcase their talents.

It's also a beautiful home for those who just work from home.

The house took 18 months to build and the real appeal is that there are few designs like this in this area.
